    Nourishly

    • Nourishly is an easy-to-use, HIPAA-compliant digital food and symptom tracking tool focused on digestive health. It allows you to work collaboratively with your registered dietitian to better understand the relationship between your diet and your symptoms, and to monitor progress between appointments. If you and your dietitian determine that food and symptom tracking may be a beneficial part of your care plan, you’ll be provided with more information about how to get started using Nourishly.

Please note: Nourishly should not be relied on as a primary means of communicating any new, serious, or non-GI-related symptoms.

    • To connect your Nourishly account to your Oshi registered dietitian, follow the steps below:

      1. Download the Nourishly App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
      2. Create an account with Nourishly
      3. Select Invite A Team Member in the app
      4. Enter the code given to you by your dietitian when prompted

Your registered dietitian will use the information you share to inform and adjust your treatment plan and will not disclose it externally.

    • By tracking your dietary intake, your Oshi care team will provide optimal recommendations for your symptoms and personal health and wellness. Your tracking information will only be used to assess your condition and to provide you with care recommendations. Your registered dietitian will review your tracking information regularly to stay up to date with your progress and to adjust your management recommendations if necessary. This information will not be shared externally.

    • You should track your dietary intake and symptoms in Nourishly. For your dietary intake, list your meals, snacks, and drinks. Please include portion sizes, ingredients, and the time you ate or drank. Please use the Nourishly app’s digestive symptom and stool-tracking features to record GI symptoms and bowel movements. Your care team will discuss any special recommendations or personalization as part of your care plan.

    • We encourage you to be as detailed as you feel is manageable. Knowing the food ingredients, the amounts of each, and the portion sizes you consume helps your clinical team make the most appropriate recommendations for you. This is especially important for patients following specific dietary protocols, as the quantity of a food consumed can have a significant impact on symptom response.

We know that it can feel tedious to record this level of detail. Tracking can provide significant value in understanding how diet and gastrointestinal symptoms are related, and it often only needs to be used for the short term. You can also share pictures of ingredient labels and/or meals with your care team to supplement tracking if you find that easier. For specific questions, please connect with your registered dietitian.

    • Please update your dietary intake, symptoms, and bowel movements daily. This helps provide your care team with comprehensive, accurate information about how your body responds to diet and lifestyle factors and whether they should make any adjustments to your care plan.
